All teens (TVO members and friends!) are invited to join for this special program, RESPONDING TO HATRED, with Max Kastler of StandWithUs.
“Responding to Hatred” is a comprehensive presentation and conversation, from StandWithUs, designed to address the issue of antisemitism and provide practical strategies for effectively confronting it in our daily lives. This will include identifying historical manifestations of antisemitism (both religious and racial), exploring antisemitism related to Israel (how do we differentiate between Jew-hatred and legitimate criticism of Israel?), and offering effective tools for responding to antisemitism. We’ll gain knowledge, share opinions in non-judgmental ways, and learn how we might help each other handle challenging situations. All backgrounds, opinions, and views welcome!
