NOTE: Michael, Jeff and I were really looking forward to our Big Jewcy Questions session. We originally planned it in order to be responsive to the moment — following up on the vibrant and important conversation we were having together during the High Holidays.
Now, however, many of us are actively trying to digest the results of the election. Some of us do not feel much like talking and others are focused on thinking about how to craft our next steps in maintaining our own sanity and thinking about how to protect the most marginalized and vulnerable people in our community/country/world, as we try to navigate the new moment with courage and compassion.
Accordingly,, we have decided to postpone this session to a future date (to be announced). We look forward to a fulfilling conversation in the future.

How can we stay lovingly connected as a Jewish community at this painful, difficult time?
Jeff Bercuvitz,, Michael Margolin and Mara Sapon-Shevin are honored to have the opportunity to bring together folks in the TVO community who would like to process some of the questions and topics that were brought up on Yom Kippur around Israel, Palestine, Jewish identity and our understanding of our Judaism.
We are aiming at listening, learning and healing, and not at a political discussion, or debate. We want you to share what is on your hearts and minds.
Our intention is to build on the momentum generated during the High Holidays to come closer to each other by really hearing and honoring each other’s perspectives, experiences, hopes and concerns.
The format will focus largely on small (4-5 people) group discussions.
Please join us for a light lunch at 1 pm and from 1:30-3:30 for the session.
This event is for members and others in the TVO community who may not yet have joined as members.
