We are honored to welcome Alice Rothchild—physician, author, filmmaker, and longtime human-rights advocate—to Tikkun v’Or as part of our series on Israel and Palestine. Dr. Rothchild’s week-long sojourn in Ithaca is sponsored by the Dorothy Cotton Institute.
Drawing on her new memoir Inspired and Outraged: The Making of a Feminist Physician and decades of medical, activist, and educational work, Rothchild will share her journey from her traditional Jewish roots to her deep engagement with issues of justice, health, and human rights in Israel/Palestine.
Alice will be doing a reading and book-signing at Buffalo Street Books on Friday, Nov. 14, 5:30-7:30 as well.
Learn more about her work at alicerothchild.com and alicerothchildbooks.com.
