Service Key: Both Friday & Saturday   Fri Friday night   Sat Saturday morning   Torah Torah service

Kabbalat Shabbat — Friday Night Service

The Friday night service welcomes Shabbat with song and prayer. We greet Shabbat as our beloved, light candles to mark the beginning of sacred time, and close with Kiddush over wine and Hamotzi over challah.

Shabbat Shacharit — Saturday Morning Service

Saturday morning begins with gratitude and opens into a full service of prayer, song, and Torah reading. The Torah service is the heart of the morning — we take the Torah out, read from it, and return it with reverence.

Havdalah — Separating Shabbat from the Week

Havdalah means "separation." This beautiful ritual uses wine, spices, and a braided candle to say goodbye to Shabbat and carry its sweetness into the new week. We sing Eliyahu HaNavi and Miriam HaN'viah, longing for a world of peace and redemption.

Torah Service

The Torah service is one of the most sacred parts of the Saturday morning service. We take the Torah from the ark in procession, bless those called for aliyot, read the weekly portion, lift and dress the Torah, and return it with song.

TvO note: We say im kol ha'amim — chosen WITH all peoples, not FROM all peoples.
