  of the horrors of October 7\, 2023\, when Hamas attacked Israel and kille
 d 1\,195 people\, and took 250 Israeli civilians\, soldiers\, and others
  hostage. About 50 of them\, dead and alive\, remain in captivity today.\n
 \n We will read poems\, sing\, and sit in silence\, as we remember the ri
 p in the fabric of Israel\, and mourn the lives lost on that day and in 
 the last two years.\n\nCoffee\, tea\, and  light breakfast will be served
