 he last one.\n\nLauren Monroe grew up in the Reform movement\, at Temple B
 eth Elohim\, in Brooklyn\, NY.  As a Jewish Studies major in college at S
 UNY Albany\, she fell in love with reading and interpreting Jewish texts. 
 Lauren received her PhD in Bible and Ancient Near East from the Skirball D
 epartment of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University.  At Cornel
 l\, she teaches courses in Hebrew Bible\, Biblical Hebrew\, Archaeology\, 
 and Ancient Israelite Religious and Social History. \n\nRegistration is r
