SUMMARY:Torah Study
DESCRIPTION:Join Tikkun v'Or for Torah Study with Rabbi Lenore Bohm\, who w
rites:\n\n"The story of the Tower of Babel\, part of this week's Torah por
tion\, is referenced in Pope Leo's recent encyclical entitled "On Safeguar
ding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence." Does the To
wer of Babel story address some of the challenges posed by AI? What do we
learn about the biblical notion of God from this story\, and from the stor
y of Noah which opens the parsha? Why is the flood story - with its apocal
yptic destruction - usually presented as particularly suitable for childre
 n? Come join the conversation."
