DESCRIPTION:Shabbat / Simchat Torah led by Lauren Korfine\n\nPlease join us
  as we welcome Shabbat\, sing\, pray\, and dance with the Torah. On Simcha
 t Torah\, we celebrate life and learning and the cycles of our Jewish life
  as we roll the Torah back to the beginning to read it through again with 
 eyes fresh from the work of Yom Kippur\, and ready for the year ahead. We 
 will be present with the pain of last year’s Simchat Torah (that fell on
  the 7th of October) and also call in the joy that lives side by side with
  sadness and grief\, that together we might live into the phrase that we c
 hant at the end of reading a book of Torah: chazak\, chazak\, v’nitchaze
 k (Be strong\, be strong\, take strength in each other). \n\nMost Shabbat
