 er\, for an evening reading and discussing a handful of great poems from a
 cross the rich and complicated tradition of modern Jewish poetry\, includi
 ng work by Emma Lazarus\, Paul Celan\, Dan Pagis\, Yehuda Amichai\, and ot
 hers. This event will begin with readings of the poems\, followed by a gro
 up-led discussion of them. We may also explore a poem by the great Palesti
 nian poet Mahmoud Darwish\, and a poem of Rosenberg’s that engages direc
