 rpose of the Ten Commandments Hike to provide an opportunity for young Sco
 uts to live their faith\, while learning how the Ten Commandments play an 
 important part in the lives of others\, living their faiths. The event rot
 ates to different parts of the community each year\, on the Friday followi
 ng Thanksgiving. This year\, Scouts and their families will be visiting te
 n houses of worship in Lansing\, NY. At each stop\, you’ll learn about t
 he worship space and hear an explanation of one of the Ten Commandments. T
 his cross-cultural event will help Scouts gain greater understanding of re
 ligious and greater acceptance of others’ religious beliefs.\n\nCongrega
