Shabbat morning services at Congregation Tikkun V’Or are usually on weekends when Rabbi Brian Walt is in residence. We often start with meditation and/or yoga (usually starting at 9:30 am), followed by the morning service, Torah reading, and Torah discussion, ending with concluding prayers. You are welcome to come for all or part of the service!
Shabbat morning services are usually followed by a dish-to-pass dairy/vegetarian lunch (around noon). Please bring food to share. Reusable plates or paper goods are provided.
On Shabbat mornings with a bar or bat mitzvah, all community members are also welcome to join as family and friends celebrate. There is traditionally a larger oneg (celebratory snack) or lunch after the service, hosted by the bnai mitzvah family.
